Abstract

This article analyzes the current state of academic mobility between China, the US and Russia, compares changes in data on the mobility of teachers, scientists and students between China, the US and Russia in recent years, and identifies political reasons for data changes. The article states that in the context of anti-globalization, Western countries have begun to tighten their control over the transnational flow of knowledge, setting obstacles for China and Russia to study in Western countries, while the trend of academic flow between China and Russia is growing. Under the model of three languages and two diplomas, the first Sino-Russian cooperative university has demonstrated the potential brought by high-quality academic mobility due to its internationalization and diversity, as well as the scientific research and teaching results it can bring. Compared with the number of students, the university is a leader among Chinese and Russian universities in terms of the quantity and quality of scientific research achievements of university students. The direction of academic mobility in today's world is changing, the global education market pattern and international academic mobility is moving towards multi-polarization.
