Abstract
The paper exercises the main and implicit features of Russian-speaking tourism to the Kingdom of Thailand during 2024, which remains one of the most accessible (in the broad sense of the word) and attractive destinations for tourist trips abroad. The key trends, preferences, and factors affecting the tourist flow from the key donor of tourists, i.e., the Russian Federation, as well as the gaining momentum of tourist flow of representatives of Kazakhstan and the other CIS countries are briefly considered. The main trends and changes in the tourist attractiveness to Thailand for the citizens of the post-Soviet states, the impact of new international and internal political, social, and economic determinants (including changes in the visa programs of the Kingdom of Thailand) on the structural characteristics, dynamics, and geography of tourist flows are analyzed.
